On May 6 this year, another edition of the IKAR Job and Education Fair took place, organized by the Air Force Academy in Dęblin—an institution LOTAMS has been cooperating with for years and whose graduates go on to join our organization.

Recently, students from Technical School No. 4 in Bytom had the opportunity to go behind the scenes of MRO operations and see aviation from a completely different perspective. Hangars, workshops, and LOTAMS’ technical facilities—no slides or textbooks, just real processes and real responsibility.

The Structural Repairs Workshop team in Rzeszów once again successfully carried out the repair of pickle fork components on a 25-year-old Boeing 737 NG aircraft.

Our wonderful colleague, Wojtek, is retiring after a long and well-deserved career. His professional journey in aviation began in September 1975 and continued uninterrupted until March 31, 2026. This means nearly 51 years of service with Polish Airlines LOT, and later with LOTAMS.

We are pleased that, for several years now, we have consistently been able to participate in this event as an exhibitor and a partner of the university, supporting the development of future aviation industry professionals.

Can a future aircraft mechanic start their journey in Rawa Mazowiecka? On March 28, during the Open Day at the M. Copernicus Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Rawa Mazowiecka, we had the opportunity to see that the answer is definitely yes.

During Women in Aviation Day at the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków, specialists from various areas of the aviation industry shared their inspiring stories. Among them was Anna Brodziak—a licensed aircraft maintenance technician at LOTAMS—who took part in the panel titled: “Women Who Keep Aviation on Track.”

Hanna worked a total of 40 years with Polish Airlines LOT and LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services. Thank you for four decades of commitment, professionalism, and contribution to the development of our organization.

At the LOTAMS base in Rzeszów, the Structural Repairs Workshop team has completed another demanding repair - this time involving components known as “pickle forks” on a Boeing 737 NG aircraft.

On January 15, 2026, a letter of intent regarding educational cooperation was signed between the Polish Aviation Group (PGL) and the M. Copernicus School Complex - Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Rawa Mazowiecka. This document marks another important step toward strengthening cooperation between the education sector and the aviation industry.

On December 5, 2025, we had the pleasure of attending the oath ceremony of first-year classes at the Aviation Technical School in Nagoszewo.
